The Kettle Valley Railroad saw completion in 1915 with the Last Spike joining the KVR & GNR in Princeton. In 1989 the last of the KVR infastructure was removed and the rail right of way lands ceded to the Province. In 1996 the former railbed was designated as the Trans Canada Trail. Stewardship groups were put in place to work on the creation of a world class tourist attraction. Vermilion Trails Society was formed in 1998 and has since maintained stewardship and development of the 113km section of Trail stretching from Osprey Lake to Brookmere. Three Lakes Solutions offer a complete cyclist/vehicle shuttle service throughout the region. Contact us with your details and dates. We can also help you with any local accommodation or amenities.
